A permanent home for great American businesses.

Thousands of owners spend a lifetime building a good service company. Then they hit retirement with no one to hand it to. The kids don’t want it. Private equity thinks it’s too small. 8T8 is the buyer they never had. We pay a fair price. We keep the founder’s name on the truck. We don’t sell.

  1. I.

    We hold forever.

There is no fund life. There is no clock. We buy to keep.

  2. II.

    We use our own money.

No bank debt. No LP capital calls. We answer to no one but the businesses we own.

  3. III.

The name stays on the truck.

The founder built the brand. We do not rename it, rebrand it, or roll it up.

  4. IV.

    The people stay.

The crew, the office manager, the dispatcher. They are the company. We do not cut them.

  5. V.

We pay a fair price, structured around the owner.

Cash at close, seller financing, and earnout. Mixed to fit the next chapter the owner wants. No bank debt.

  6. VI.

    We answer the phone.

Two partners. Direct line. No associate, no analyst, no gatekeeper.

Names are withheld by agreement with the sellers. Each company keeps its own name in its own market. Trade, region, and figures are stated as they are. Names and returns go to serious parties under NDA.

We started 8T8 because the country is full of good service companies with no one to hand them to. The founder is tired. The kids went a different way. Private equity says the company is too small. The strategic buyer wants to gut it. So the business gets sold to whoever shows up, or it winds down. Either way, something real is lost. We built 8T8 to be the buyer that does not show up to strip it. We pay a fair price. Cash at close, seller financing, and earnout, mixed to fit the owner's next chapter. We keep the name. We keep the people. We do not sell. That is the entire promise. It is also the whole company.
